This Talavera plate is beautifully painted with skill indicative of the finest artisans. There is a maker's mark on the back along with the location where the plate was made: Pueblo, Mexico. There are multiple plates and each one is uniquely decorated, demonstrating the authenticity of the work. Hand-painted Talavera pieces are all unique even when a common pattern is used.
The plate measures 9.5 inches. There is no damage.
