This 20th Century Chinese Porcelain Flambe Vase has a globular body, long neck and flared rim. The interior mouth of the vase reflects all the various colors in the glaze. The base has a cream-colored glaze and a mark in underglaze blue. It is beautifully rendered. The vase dates to the early to mid 20th century. Based on a review of the mark in the latest edition of "Marks on Chinese Ceramics" (2021), the vase dates to the Republic period.
The vase is approximately 7.5 inches tall. There is crazing and hairlines on the base but no damage to the body of the vase.
