Baluster shaped vase decorated with interlocking scrolls and a floral design common to Persian and Kashmiri wares. The decorative handles are in the form of open-mouthed mythological creatures. The vase appears to be made of copper and has evidence of worn gilt in many areas, particularly the handles.
There are definite signs of age and use, with dents and dings throughout. The vase is approximately 10 inches tall and 8 inches wide from handle to handle.
