This is a lovely famille rose vase decorated with the characteristic pastels. The entire vase has a floral motif with alternating scenes of ladies surrounded by flowers and a vase filled with flowers. The upper bordering circling the neck of the vase is a simple diaper pattern, while the inner, wide border depicts birds, flowers and geometric designs. The vase is thought to date to the Daoguang period.
There are no hairlines or cracks. There is enamel loss in some places and firing flaws. The vase is in very good condition.
The vase is approximately 13 inches tall and 8 inches wide across the shoulders
