This statue is a rare and beautiful depiction of a Qing Dynasty official. In this rendering, the official sits upon an intricately carved bench that is a work of art. The back of the bench and arms are dragons, while each foot has a face and claw. The statue is expertly crafted revealing individual dragon scales and even the fingernails of the figure. There is a mark impressed inside the figure as well as the fingerprints of the artisan. There is no damage. The age of the statue is unknown.
The statue is very large and heavy. The measurements are 12" x 10.75" x 7".
